About Groove Gent

I'm Groove Gent, a DJ from Queensbury in West Yorkshire, and I'm making my return to the decks. After stepping away from the scene for a while, I'm back where I belong — behind the booth, reading the room, and keeping the dancefloor moving from the first beat to the last.

My sets are built on the timeless energy of disco and funk — those infectious grooves that never go out of style. But I don't just play other people's records. I remix, rework, and produce my own tracks, weaving original material and edits through my sets so every performance feels fresh, personal, and unmistakably mine. It's a blend of classic warmth and modern production that keeps the groove alive while pushing it forward.

I'm available for bookings across the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world. Whether it's a packed large bar, a late-night club, an outdoor event, a corporate function, or a festival stage, I bring the same energy and craft to every room I play. No matter the crowd or the setting, my job is simple: make people move.

GrooveGent is my home base — the place where I track my gigs, manage my growing catalog of originals and remixes, build setlists, and take booking requests from promoters and venues. Everything you see here is run by me, for the music. Let's make the floor groove.
